Marina Beach - Famous as the longest beach in India and the second-longest of its kind in the world, Marina Beach is one of the most famous beach holiday destinations in the country. San Thome Church - St Thomas Cathedral is a 16th century basilica, built during the Portuguese reign in Tamil Nadu, India. The church was originally a tomb of Saint Thomas, one of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ. In the 19th century, it was rebuilt by the British and bestowed with the status of a cathedral.

Kapaleeshwar Temple - Though the clear picture about who built the temple is not known, it is commonly believed that the temple was originally built by Pallavas in the seventh century CE due to its reference in the hymns of the Nayanmars; however, the architecture of the temple seems to be just 300-400 years old.
