Sri Airavatesvara Temple - This popular Thanjor Shiva temple is located in Kumbakonam, Thanjavur district. This temple was built by Raja Raja Chola II in the 12th century and now, it is a UNESCO World Heritage site. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and portrays Vaishnavism and Shaktism traditions of Hinduism.
